Nury, the owner of My Language Workshop, is willing to contribute to people’s language learning development. She has been a dedicated university lecturer and lifetime tutor who loves languages. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in language learning and translation.
Nury has 30+ years’ experience in English and Spanish language instruction within multicultural scenarios. She has broad experience in general facilitation, global onboarding, leadership development, talent management, and translation and interpretation.

Nury Lara acted as the personal translator for the President of Colombia and the First Lady et al., at fundraising and international events.
Nury has an Infectious enthusiasm for helping people build their confidence, enhance their self-esteem and boost their authentic self. Outside of work, she loves her daily walks with her husband, dancing, yoga, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
